Play-By-Play Announcer
Tom Dixon serves as the Play-by-Play voice for the Boiling Springs Bulldogs. Tom served with the Gaffney broadcast crew before he took the position at Boiling Springs. Ever since his first broadcast for the Bulldogs, he has remained a Bulldog and continues to do a great job.
Tom served 12 years in the U S Army. Tom was a AH-64 Apache pilot and a Desert Storm veteran.
Both of Tom's kids are graduates of Boiling Springs High.
When Tom isn't working or broadcasting, he enjoys spending time with his family, and also likes to spend a day on the golf course.
Color Commentator
Todd Waddell serves as the color commentator for Bulldog football and basketball and Play by Play announcer for Bulldog baseball and softball.
Todd was the PA announcer for all BS Varsity sports for seven years.
Todd started with UPC in the 2021 Bulldog football season broadcasting the away football games before coming over as full-time color commentator in 2023.
Graduating from BS and being the School Resource Officer at BSHS until 2019, Todd has been in the very center of all things Boiling Springs his entire life.
When Todd isn't at a Bulldog game, he loves spending time with his wife and his son. And if he's not at BSHS he will be at his church, View Church!!
Sideline Reporter/Basketball Color Commentator
Ken Walter joined Upstate Prep Cast in 2024, beginning as the sideline reporter for Boiling Springs High School football before transitioning to the role
of color analyst for the basketball season.
Ken brings a wealth of experience to the broadcast, having spent 17 years as a high school and college basketball official, highlighted by his assignments in the 2005 State 4A Championship and the 2005 North-South Classic.
In addition to his work in sports, Ken is a proud veteran of the United States Navy Submarine Force, having served with honor.
Ken’s connection to Boiling Springs runs deep—he is married to a BSHS alumna, and both of his children are proud graduates of Boiling Springs High School.
Play-By-Play Announcer
Dean Bridges is the Play-By-Play broadcaster for the
Chapman Panthers this year.
Dean has played a lot of
different roles for Upstate Prep- Cast over the last several
years. He has experience in Play-By-Play, Color
Commentator, sideline and videographer during his time
with Upstate Prep Cast.
Dean is a 1983 graduate of Chapman High School where he
played football during his time there.
Dean is a lifelong resident of Inman. He is married to
Kelly and together they have 7 children, Austin, Bradley,
Daniel, Erinn, Foster, Anna Grace and Harrison.
General Manager/
Color Commentator
Elton Chapman is serving as the Color Commentator for the Chapman Panthers. He is also the General Manager of Upstate Prep-Cast.
Elton continues to be apart of many broadcasts we air, including baseball, softball and helping broadcast at the Landrum Battle at the Border Tournament.
In the summer Elton is the play by play broadcaster for the Greer Warhawks American Legion baseball team.
He enjoys traveling, serving the Boy Scouts and spending time with his family when he isn't working or broadcasting.

Color Commentator
Andrew Eison is entering his 6th season with Upstate Prep-Cast and his eighth covering high school sports. He also writes for the Boiling Springs Sports Journal.
Andrew has been married to his wife Brittany for over 12 years. He has two kids, Maryellen and Silas, both of which can be seen at various sporting events with him throughout the year.

Tim is a 2007 Chesnee High School graduate. He enjoys local sports and has been an umpire for little league baseball and softball for 7 years.

Play-By-Play Announcer
Steve Roper has been on staff covering Landrum since 2019.
Steve is a 1981 graduate of Chapman High School a three-year varsity Letterman in football and also served as president of the student body.
Steve was a sports writer for the Inman Times from 1985-2002 . During that time was recognized and awarded 10 South Carolina press association honors for excellence in Sports journalism, best sports column and best photojournalism and feature stories.
Color Commentator/Website Administrator
Kevin Jackson has been on-staff covering Landrum since 2019.
Kevin is also the website administrator for Upstate Prep-Cast and handles social media responsibilities. Kevin also produced many of the commercials featured on Upstate Prep-Cast this year.
Kevin is a 2005 graduate of Landrum High School and has assisted in various roles with Landrum High School Athletics since 2005 including Public Address Announcer for the Five Time SC State Champion Landrum High School Baseball team since 2010.

Out of Town Scoreboard Engineer
Harold Chapman works in our Monterey VA. studio providing
up-to-date scoreboard information to all of our broadcast
crews of local area high school and collegiate games and all
other sporting events of interest to enhance our listener’s
experience.
He has been the Out Of Town Scoreboard Reporter
for several years.
Harold is a 1974 Graduate of Chapman High School. He is a
retired electrician and enjoys his days playing golf and spending
as much time as he can with his 3 children, Adrienne, Dustin
and Tracy and grandson Kain.
Social Media Coordinator
Justin Mathis serves as a Social Media Coordinator for Upstate Prep-Cast
Justin is a 2010 alumnus of Chapman High School and graduated from North Greenville University in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Media.
He has been on staff with Upstate Prep-Cast since August 2012.
He also assists with broadcasts for winter and spring sports. When not broadcasting or writing about a game, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as serving in his community and church.
Co-Founder
Britt Wilkerson is the Co-Founder of Upstate Prep-Cast.
When Britt isn't working or broadcasting, he likes to spend his days on the golf course.
Britt started in 2005 with the Chapman Panthers, brought Landrum on in 2007, Boiling Springs on board in 2008 and Chesnee (again) in 2018. He's been at this for over 18 years now and continues to be a supporter of his hometown Panthers as well our our Upstate Prep-Cast schools.
Co-Founder
Dale is also Co-Founder of Upstate Prep-Cast and serves as the Public Address Announcer for the Anderson Motor Speedway & Harris Motor Speedway. Dale is also is the host of Droppin' the Hammer.
When Dale isn't at the racetrack, he helps out with various broadcasts and enjoys serving in that role. He also enjoys getting away every now and then and enjoying other things in life, besides broadcasting.
Dale has also been with the crew for the long haul (18 Years).
